Facilities on the site and in the surroundings.
On the site : a green open space of 5000m2 where you can practice a lot of outdoor activities. A large smimming pool (16x6 m). Picnic areas. An hammock is at your disposal.
You can also practice table tennis on the site. The property being next to the ‘garrique’, you can walk or bike directly from it and join the neighbouring villages or nearby monuments (Pont du Gard) through a large network of footpaths.
It’s possible to book mountain bikes for children or adults (helmets and maps are provided)
Valliguieres is a charming small village of around 500 ihnabitants with a friendly atmosphere. There’ a ‘Campanile’ (belt tower) and a chruch which are classified as ‘Historical Monument’.There’s a baker’s/grocer’s shop and a restaurant.
Valliguiéres is situated in the region of Uzés that includes ‘The Pont du Gard’ and a lot of typical provencal villages.
At the frontier between Languedoc and Provence, near the Pont du Gard, Avignon, Nimes and Uzes, Valliguieres is the heart of a region with great touristic interest.
The ‘Pont du gard’
Built in the beginning of our era by the Romans with stone extracted from neighbouring quarries, it crosses the river ‘Gardon’ and is 360m long. This aqueduc bridge, consists of three levels of archs which hold up the covered canal situated at a heigh of 48m. This aqueduc bridge is supposed to be the highest in the world.More infos
Uzés is the ‘Premier duché de France’. It signifies that the Dukes of Uzés, by this title, occupied the first rank after the princes of royal blood.
In the middle of the XVI century, lots of ‘Uzétiens’ were Calvinists. At that period, the town was the fifth protestant town of the kingdom of France. Nowadays, there are 2 catholic churches and one protestant.More infos

The ‘Roman’ has a large variety of antique monuments which are still in a very good state. The ‘Arénes’ (133m x 101m) of a elliptic shape are surrounded by 34 ranks of tiers which hold up a vaulted structure with 5 concentric galleries. The ‘Arenes’ can welcome 23 000 spectators.More infos
